Andrea and Karl’s Spear-O-Wigwam Wedding

an intimate wedding at spear-o-wigwam ranch in sheridan, wyoming

When Andrea and Karl first reached out they weren’t quite sure exactly where they wanted to get married. They just knew they wanted a laid-back day with their closest friends and family in a beautiful place. After tossing around some ideas they decided on a gorgeous microwedding at Spear-O-Wigwam ranch in the Bighorn Mountains of Sheridan, Wyoming. And it was PERFECT!

They rented out the entire ranch for their day. All of their guests stayed in the cabins on the property and spent the days leading up to the wedding going for horseback rides, kayaking, fishing, and soaking in the laid-back mountain views. Because Spear-O doesn’t have cell service or internet, it was the perfect place to disconnect.

On the morning of their wedding they got ready in separate cabins and then we headed out for a hike to a gorgeous lake. After the hike they had their ceremony, officiated by one of their friends, in front of a little pond at the ranch. It was perfect! With the “hard” part over it was time to celebrate with cocktail hour, dinner, and a gorgeous bonfire under those big Wyoming skies.

Here are some photos from their day! Enjoy!

I had so much fun with these two and their sweet humans at their elopement and I loved getting to explore Spear-O-Wigwam and the Bighorn Mountains! This is honestly a perfect venue for a couple who wants to have a laid-back intimate wedding with all of their people staying on site or anyone who wants a low-key but stunningly beautiful elopement (with horseback riding, anyone?). I can’t wait to go back!
