Sarah and Greg’s colorado mountain microwedding

An adventure-inspired microwedding in the mountains

When Sarah and Greg first reached out about their itty bitty wedding in the Colorado mountains they had a few ideas about what they wanted but had no idea how to make it happen. They knew they wanted a laid-back day in a beautiful place and to spend it celebrating with the people they love. Obviously this was right up my alley!

After we tossed around a few ideas they decided to have an intimate wedding in the mountains near Breckenridge and it was PERFECT!

We began their day way before sunrise at their AirBnB where they were got ready and then headed out in the dark to catch the sunrise waaaaaaay up above treeline. Sarah’s best friend tagged along (shoutout to the friends who are willing to get up in the middle of the night with you on the day you get married – that’s how you know who your true friends are! ha!) and we spent a GORGEOUS morning watching the sun rise over the mountains and taking photos along the way!

After our elopement-style sunrise photo session it was time to meet up with their people for their ceremony! The group met at a trailhead and then we all hoofed it up a Jeep road where they said their vows in front of the mountains, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. It was so, SO perfect!

After the ceremony we all headed back down the mountain and back to their AirBnB where they were treated to an elegant and DELICIOUS brunch prepared by the Colorado Cache!

I had an amazing time with these two and their sweet humans! Here are some photos from their day. Enjoy!
