Hey everybody! I’m SO excited today to be sharing some of Charlene and Shuba’s beautiful Colorado winter engagement photos!
Charlene and Shuba first met through mutual friends before they both went off to live in Korea for a few years. They kept in touch while they were there but never actually saw each other. After moving back to the States they both moved to New York City, randomly ran into each other in Central Park, and the rest is history!
For their winter engagement session we headed up to the mountains and made an evening of it! We met for drinks (along with their pup Norman!) at the Bread Bar (rumor has it that Char REALLY likes bread …) in Silver Plume and then headed up to Loveland Pass to catch the sunset.
Loveland Pass is one of those places in Colorado that is crazy easy to get to (as long as its open …) and has some killer views. I’ve driven this road hundreds of times to go skiing at A-Basin but had never actually shot up there until last weekend. The snowcapped peaks made for a beautiful backdrop as the sky turned from blue to pink to gray. It was chilly and windy but considering its still winter at 12,000 feet, it wasn’t too bad! The weather gods were definitely smiling down on us!
These two are SO much freaking fun to hang out with and so full of laughter … and I think that comes across in the photos. I can’t WAIT for their YaYa Farm wedding this fall! Here are some shots from their engagement session. Enjoy!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
