One of the best things about being a Colorado wedding photographer is all the cool places I get to shoot – and the diverse landscapes I get to shoot in. When most people think of Colorado ranch weddings they probably picture soaring mountains and old log barns – but Monee and Jace’s Western Slope wedding proved that it’s not all about mountains!
When Monee first contacted me about shooting her wedding she mentioned that, while Jace was a rodeo professional she was most definitely NOT a cowgirl. And all of this showed in their wedding. They did an incredible job of combining his love of horses and ranch life with her boho style. And it was so fun to shoot.
Monee and Jace’s wedding was held at the Absolute Prestige Ranch, a property owned by their family. The barn was built JUST for their wedding (how cool is that?!) and now it’s a bona fide wedding venue that can be booked by anyone!
With almost 300 guests, this was a bigger wedding for me – but it perfectly fit the laid-back vibes of the weddings I love to shoot. This was all about good times, good people, and one incredible and incredibly sweet couple.
Here are some shots from their day. Enjoy!
